Nothing
to be alarmed about here, folks. All just good clean fun. What's 'Hodip'? We
hadn't heard about it until we took a drive down toward the Delaware shore.
We were headed down for a beach vacation and pulled
into this little crab house. They had a condiment served along with 'crab balls'
and it caught our fancy. It wasn't until a later
trip to the beach that we actually experienced the stuff, but by then the
legend was made flesh and hodip became...well, I don't know; an icon perhaps,
a symbol of that which is both real and imagined. Go figure. Everyone, I'm convinced,
has their own "hodip".
